Bob Dylan

He was born a mysterious Greenwich Village finger picker and quickly adopted as the voice of a generation of disaffected 60′s troubadours. Cast out by that very same crowd for subverting his folk roots and planting rock and roll ones instead – he set about teaching The Beatles how to get stoned. He promptly vanished without a trace in the 70′s, got born (again) in the 80′s, nearly died in the 90′s (won a Grammy in the process) and was somehow re-energised as a blues shaman in the 00′s. All the while writing classic after classic. He’s Robert Zimmerman. His Bob-ness. He’s Judas. He doesn’t believe you.
Dylans most recent album, which shot to number 1 in the UK upon release sits comfortably alongside what can only be described as one of the most important back catalogues in popular music history. From Blowing In The Wind through to Like A Rolling Stone, turning at Tangled Up In Blue and gunning it right up to Time Out Of Mind – there is a reason that Time Magazine listed Bob as one of the 100 Most Important People of the 20th Century.
History has taught us that we should never know what to expect from Bob Dylan. He has built a celebrated career on zigging when he should zag. One thing is for certain though. At this years West Coast Blues and Roots Festival – we will be in the presence of a bona fide, once in a generation, musical genius.
A true great. Ladies and Gentlemen… Bob Dylan.
Neil Young

Legendary guitarist. Anti-war protestor. Hall of Famer. Environmental crusader. Instantly recognizable vocalist. Father. Social activist. Filmmaker. Godfather of Grunge. Oscar-nominated songwriter. Heart of Gold. The Last Waltz. Crazy Horse. Let's Impeach the President. Rockin' in the Free World. Crosby, Stills, Nash and...
We could go on, but why not hand it over to the man himself? One of the greatest live performers you could ever have the joy of witnessing comes to co-headline KaLLapalooza 2011... and boy are we excited.
Daft Punk

Rejoice, Australian earthlings, because KaLLapalooza management can confirm that, FINALLY, Daft Punk will bring their now legendary pyramid spectacular to KaLLapalooza for a festival show of blind-siding robot rock in 2011
Dance pioneers and live performance kings, Daft Punk strike an imposing figure on 2011's festival season calculations; and are sure to make for an incomparable close to to KaLLapalooza 2011.

For the time being, I was thinking we should go on 'likes,' and comments, before we decide on something more definite.
