I personally play guitar, haven't really learned a new song is a while, but I was just learning Shade by Silverchair, really easy song to play, but I really love the song, nice and mellow solo

Learnt Private Universe by Crowded House, then my guitar string snapped and with guitar already missing a tuning peg and being a 3/4 i decided that was it. Waiting for my birthday for new guitar

Do you sit on a rocking chair out on your porch whilst chewing on some wheat?

Having a crack at getting Lightspeed Champion's 'Midnight Surprise' down, but it goes for fucking 10 minutes. Plus my acoustic is being a cunt, and it don't sound the same on electric

I started playing bass guitar when I was about 15 in a band and one of the guys started to teach me some chords on an acoustic guitar and then eventually I bought myself a Fender Strat. I'm no Joe Satriani or Joe Walsh, just a regular Joe with average skills.

I tell you something though, there is no better way to get the ladies going than pulling out a guitar and throwing down some classic sing along anthems like Summer of 69 or Hotel California. They eat that shit up.

I play Cello, bit harder to learn the more commercial songs on that, not a whole lot of it is all that accessible, and I'm to lazy to transpose to different keys and stuff.
I did recently learn the All of the Lights - Interlude which sounds awesome with the piano as well, did it all by ear just pausing the song and playing around with notes, took an age. Been meaning to get a vid of it with my sis on piano up on youtube at some point, so watch this space .

Cello is amazing. Am well aware of Apocalyptica, they're great. I'd really love to play in some sort of band thing, I've only really done orchestral work, as cool as that is, it's mainly very classical/traditional music.
