Considering I'm sitting here glued to the Top 50 Boy Bands on Max, now's probably a good time to contribute

My family's pretty musical. Dad's been playing guitar in a band his whole life, brother can play just about any instrument, both sisters can sing...all the musical talent completely skipped me

Dad's band played Greek/Italian/English, mainly at weddings and things like that so pretty pop/mainstream things. Add to that the rehearsals were in the lounge room basically every week when I was in primary school it's probably no surprise I've got a soft spot for decent pop music.

Went with the crowd from Year 7-10ish, so that's where the R&B/Rap side of my collection comes out. Then when I heard Alter Bridge through the WWE that opened my eyes to the rock/metal scene. Pretty lucky really, it's meant I'm not too closed-minded when it comes to listening to music. Helps for conversation...and also means shuffle on my iPod is always an experience.

Don't try to understand women, women understand women, and that's why they hate each other!
