    I'm not sure what you mean. If you're on a 20mbps plan and you're downloading things at around 3mbps, then that's nearly the best that you'll get. Then you have people like me, on a 20mbps plan who can only download at about 0.3mbps due to my line attenuation.

    Unsure which one you are, if you're in the same boat as me and your issue stems from living 3-4+ km from your exchange, then there's not much you can do outside of getting your phone line replaced and removing sockets from around your house. But if you're actually downloading torrents and the likes at a speed of 3mbps, then you have nothing wrong with your connection. 20mbps is very much a 'theoretical' speed which you won't get unless you're living in the exchange itself.

    Yeah, same as me. I forgot the link but there's a website where you can see how far you are away from your exchange as the crow flies. I'd say you're 4+ km away with a poor quality line and a high line attentuation like myself. Not a heap you can do.

    Any luck finding that website mate?

    Considering I live out bush I reckon 4+km might be right.
