    GAME in administration, Diablo 3 pre-orders uncertain - Good Gear Guide

    The video game retailer GAME has today gone into voluntary administration in Australia, putting at risk the jobs of more than 500 employees that work across the retailer's 92 Australian stores.
    The development may also have a negative impact on customers with pre-orders, while those holding GAME gift cards now face added restrictions such as a requirement to buy a minimum number of items with cash before using them.
    GAME appears to be a victim of the soft general retail environment coupled with the fact that many gamers now buy titles from overseas stores for much cheaper via the web - or directly from publishers as a digital download using services like Steam. Other more casual gamers are increasingly moving to cheaper game apps that they download through their smartphones and tablets.

    Have to wait until 5pm for download to start. Strongly considering not going to TAFE tomorrow. Will be 10+ hours that I could put to better use playing this.
