Pics/video are preferred, but textual description is awesome too.
Cutscenes, boss fights, epic dialogue, post it all here!
I'll leave it up to the poster's discretion as to whether or not spoiler tags are required; though imo, games that have been released for more than 12 months are fair game.Last edited by Spudregus_87; 31st January 2012 at 01:31 AM.

Array Rep Power:       40 Reputation:       6623 Batman Arkham City had an awesome Boss fight in new games plus (it means ultra hard mode) whereby the boss ( Mr Freeze)actually changed techniques and the environment so that and takedown move you used ( a silent takedown for instance) would only work once then you would have to use a new move to take more of his health away, you had to come up with a dozen different moves to finish the guy
, all the while he is tracking your footprints! a very smart boss he doesn't go down by doing the same move over and over again, like most other bosses. Epic battle/moment

Array Rep Power:       35 Reputation:       4975 My favourite boss of all time comes from the original Metal Gear Solid - Psycho Mantis. For the first time ever a game creator utilised the power of the console in a new and interesting way. Pyscho Mantis could read your mind and always be one step ahead of you in the fight. The trick was to pause the game and switch your controller from Port 1 to Port 2. All of a sudden Psycho Mantis couldn't read your mind anymore and was then easily defeated.
It was a brilliant idea and well executed. The first few times you played it, you couldn't figure out what was going on. But when he keeps repeating "I can read your mind", a lot of people then figured out the trick. Then again, some people just waited for a Tips & Tricks mag to come out and read the solution and I think spoiled the thrill of figuring it out for themselves.
But anyway, GREATEST BOSS EVER!

Array Rep Power:       79 Reputation:       12304 Stinger. The MGS games were the best for that. Depending on what saves you had on your memory card he'd name drop games you've been playing.
In MGS3 there was this old sniper called The End now he was a pretty epic boss in itself. Yet earlier in the game you can see him on a deck & if you pull out your sniper rifle & take him out a few hours early. Completely skipping the boss battle. Or during the boss battle if you saved & left the game for a week he would just die of old age!
Fucking brilliant.
The Raven fake out in MGS2 was pretty awesome as well for mind tricks.

It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.
