Again, I really don't think 240kg on the calf raise is anything special or unbelievable, especially considering my weight (112kg when I weighed myself earlier today) and lower body build (similar to MMA fighter Rousimar Palhares).
It's like a never ending circle with you.

Your saying that you do 240kg calf raise is the equivalent of me saying I bench 140kg. People would call bullshit on that, despite me posting pics.

    Alright, fair enough.

I'm just surprised at the scepticism, that's all. I honestly didn't think it was anything outstanding or unbelieveable, especially for a person of my size.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

    100%.

I'm more of a pesimist than an optimist, but in the gym I'm like Tony fucking Robbins with all the positivity and good vibes and shit. You definitely need to be in the zone mentally to have a productive workout, there's no way I could have a good session if my mind is on other things. I know for certain my sets while i was stressing about getting into uni earlier this year were garbage.

I don't get how posting pics would prove what you are able to lift anyway.

I think there is "impressive" and then there's also "bullshit".

Unless it's pics of us doing the actual lift. :-/

I have had a few pics of myself training taken but that's mostly for form purposes, when I can't see it myself etc. Those who have me on Facebook have probably seen the pic of my 100kg deadlift attempts at any rate.

I don't get how anyone else's "proof" has been any more concrete or believeable than mine. But then again, I clearly don't grasp what's so amazing about doing ~200kg on the calf raise in the first place, so I must be bullshitting to claim that, right? I honestly wasn't aware it was any sort of unbelieveable figure to be pumping out reps at.

Speaking of leg press (45 degree), I can never get into a comfortable position. Start stacking the weight on and my lower back hurts.

That is because you are rolling your lower back as the weight comes down. You need to push into the seat.

Tailbone up against the seat? I used to sit in the seat wrong, with my bum off the seat and only my lower back resting against it. I saw some dudes in there once (powerlifters) pressing some enormous amount, no doubt a struggle after their 15x240kg calf raise set, and overheard them both saying to each other to keep the tailbone pressed agaisnt the seat as you extend out and press the weight. I get lower back pain all the time but I'm fine after doing the leg press since I corrected my form.

Yeah, I need like a 6 point harness to keep me strapped in.

    Thanks Narks
