    Supposed to be doing legs today, did a late leg day last week (Saturday) as still have some soreness in quads from it - worth doing shoulders today and putting off legs til tomorrow or sticking to routine, doing em today and possibly not being able to put in as good a performance as normal?

    Yeah, got someone to spot me and I reckon he probably helped too much. So went up to 75kg to compensate for that. Then I went on with the rest of my workout and wow, my chest was dead.

    Ray Lewis wouldn't have been impressed if you hadn't succeeded.

    Shoulders day for us tomorrow. Looking for some more PB's, going to do a triple dropset on the shrugs sets after seeing it in a video by Chris Jones. Looks fucking brutal.

    Going to try dropsets next week. I have asked about them before but how do you determine what sort of weights you push?

    Weight 1 - whatever you usually lift
    First drop - 30% less
    Second drop - 30% less again

    Eg. If you usually 10kg you go 10kg, 6kg, 3kg

    The point is not to do the heaviest you can do and kill yourself on the first set but to be able to push yourself through each drop. I tend to take it down a notch on the first drop instead of doing what is usually my heaviest and then go down accordingly per drop. So for instance for a DB chest press it would be 60lbs(27.5kg) -> 45lbs(20.5kg) -> 30lbs(13.5kg), each drop 8-10 reps.
