Also agree re: your thoughts on Kall's question. Studied holocaust last year, so interesting. Wish my Uni History department wasn't so pleb .

Have to study Race, Science and Religion in Australasia: 1890-1920 atm. Some of it was good, Darwinisim , Colonialism but some of it is fucking zzzzz.

The stuff they teach at least. Theres lots of potential in stuff like Jandamarra (well i found it an interesting story), but they stick with Anzac, Ned Kelly and White Australia

Bear in mind it's a first draft (showing the tutor tomorrow). 10 slides at 20 seconds each exactly, we're to "get up, say what we need to concisely and sit the hell down." Can't wait for the 2500 word essay where I can really flesh things out, presentations aren't really my thing. Is my concept clear? Also, what I've got written underneath each slide isn't exactly what I'll say, it's more just prompting for me.

when i went to Dachau last month i had a really good tour of the place.

he was saying that the prisoners were given a number, and that was the sole thing which made them identifiable... when they were transferred to a different camp they were given a new number and some felt that it was like they were having their old identity taken away, so they brokedown or killed themselves.

just made me think of that when you were talking about these people not being acknowledged as human

Been reading about the Józefów case. Very interesting given that it flies in the face (to some degree) the special selection, indoctrination and ideological arguments along with the stigma that the perpetrators were without choice in the face of superior orders.
