    Interesting. I had an appointment with a lady today who said the best option would be just to take a leave of absence, therefore I would still be enrolled in Engineering until I decide what I want to do. Thinking I'll take this option, work FT and find out what I actually want to do. I will do as you suggest though and ask around about it. I have no passion for the current work, and completely struggled to enjoy any small section of the course. I don't want to be stuck in a field I hate.

    Yeah LOA would have been my suggestion as well. Try and find an engineering firm who'll take you on for a week of work experience as well (I'm sure there'll be no shortage of those in Perth haha).
