A couple of my mates work in big mining companies in the city, when I will catchup with them for lunch or a drink they will never be wearing a tie and sometimes casual clothes (casual fridays). They are actually encouraged not to wear ties, it makes me sick.

The few times I've gone from the airport to get lunch or something wearing my uniform people asked retarded questions like 'do you drive planes?'. I'm buying a hamburger you idiot. Then you get wankers walking around complete with Aviation Security Identification Cards hanging from their pockets (which you only need to wear when you're actually in the secure areas of an airport) just so people know that they're a pilot, incase the uniform and little wings badge on the chest didn't give it away.

Yeah I hate pilots.
