my 4 year old cousins threw her ball in the middle of the pool, which had a pool cover on. she begs me to get it for her, i tell her to play with a different tennis ball, she says 'no, that ones my favourite'.
I get a tennis racquet and stretch and finally manage to get the ball to come to the edge and get it for her, and give it to her. she looks at it and says "thanks".
10 seconds later she goes "Actually, I think it should go in the pool" and underarms it into the pool again.
