    Hows this for a act of self absorption.

    So I was at a engagement party turned wedding as they decided to get hitched. They announced it like 15 minutes before hand. As everyones getting ready etc the father of the bride starts going on a massive rant "they didnt trust me enough to tell me, they should of told me, I couldnt believe they didnt tell me blah blah" and winds up getting his car and driving off about 5 minutes before the wedding. Bride needs someone to walk her down the aisle. A toss up between brother and grandad but it was decided the brother makes more sense. He walked her down the aisle, got married etc. He starts ringing everyones phones (including mine as he has my number). Thing is alot of people had just thrown there phones on a table inside. I was just watching them ring one at a time. He is getting no answer so about 2 hours later he turns up again and just sits on a seat in the corner. Bride and groom eventually go over to apologise (lord knows why) and trod along while he sits there in the corner trying to look as angry as possible. His wife aside no one else talked to him thankfully.

    And that my friends will be the self absorbed act of the year I think. Hard to top that

    In hindsight I should've taken a sneaky pic or just walked straight up and said "you look like Gary Busey, mind if I get a few snaps?" Or maybe it was Gary Busey in disguise as an older woman
