Either way, having grown up near enough to those suburbs, if I get placed somewhere out there next year I'm refusing to go. It just gets worse the further north you go.

Nah it was Dav.
I was wrong though, it was a 12 year old, but then he stole $400 while she lay on the floor.
Students, 12, knock teacher out with brick, steal $400 | News.com.auSTUDENTS at an Adelaide primary school have hit one of their teachers in the head with a brick before stealing $400 from her while she lay injured on the ground.
AdelaideNow reports the teacher was on yard duty during recess at Swallowcliffe Primary School at Davoren Park yesterday when two students threw a brick at her, hitting her in the back of the head.
As she lay on the ground semi-conscious, the two students stole her office keys and stole more than $400 from her purse.
The teacher had disciplined several students just before the attack, but was too concussed afterwards to remember who the students were.
Students were confined to their classes while police investigated and letters have been sent home to parents seeking information.
Parents and students were shocked by the vicious attack.
"It's very scary," parent Andrea Walker said. "I mean, these are only 12-year-olds."

I don't think I've heard of anything that bad happening in Melbourne, and I live in the western suburbs
Also, wtf would you keep $400 in your purse?

Array Rep Power:       52 Reputation:       9672 My sister had a friend who worked at a primary school in Davoren Park or one of the surrounding suburbs, she reckons there were some feral kids but there were a heap of kids who loved going to school just because the teachers actually cared for them and looked after them.
Sad really.

Array Rep Power:       2 Reputation:       51 Teachers are all scum that cry for more money and get just as much holidays as the kids get.
Can't say I feel sorry for them when they have bad times with said job.
