Suffice to say it may not have been prime Holmes

He's only lost to five boxers. His last two fights shouldn't even count, he just jumped in the ring because he was bankrupt and got knocked out both times by inferior opponents, he was also 40 and well passed his prime. He didn't care about the result just desperately needed money... Partially ruined his legacy unfortunately.
So that leaves him losing only to Buster Douglas, Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis. All are massive names in boxing.

Array Rep Power:       4 Reputation:       366 I think the prime part was implied.
Holmes has a much greater case to be goat than tyson.
Tyson was a latter day foreman.
Further i don't see the argument why prison is an excuse for his decline, didnt hurt bernard hopkins.
Douglas burst tysons mystique, when he lost that, he lost "it"

Array Rep Power:       4 Reputation:       366 sure, I don't have much an issue with that.
Other than that those names he lost to, are much bigger names than any of the guys he beat. there are no massive names in his win column (presuming old age pensioners don't count). Douglas is only a big name because he beat Tyson.
Ali for example lost to Frazier, lost to Norton, lost to Leon Spinks, but he also beat Frazier, Norton & Spinks. He also beat Sonny freakin' Liston, George Foreman etc.
