Sir Christopher Judd (Carlton Football Club)
DOB: 08/09/1983 (Age: 28)
Position: The greatest midfielder of all time
Drafted: Pick 3, 2001
Debut: Round 2, 2002 vs. Collingwood
Games: 222
The champ. He's achieved everything in the game so far, the only thing left to tick off is a Premiership with Carlton. His 2011 wasn't as good as his 2010, but he still went into the Brownlow count as favourite. He turned himself into the elite inside midfielder in the competition when he joined Carlton, after being the best outside damaging midfielder in the competition at West Coast. He averages a little bit under a goal a game. The only flaw with his game is his over-head marking and set shot kicking. Most fans will make fun of his ball use, but they're just jealous that the greatest midfielder of our generation (possibly ever) is playing for Carlton. He actually improved his overhead marking in 2011, compared to previous seasons, but the end of his 2011 was poor after son Oscar was born. His 2012 will be outstanding again as he's as consistent as anyone who has ever played the game. Despite having a poorer year by his own standards, he still won the AFLPA MVP and the award will soon be named after Judd instead of Leigh Matthews.

"Homie, maybe we should go inside."
"But, Marge, that little guy hasn't done anything yet. Look at him. He's going to do something and you know it's going to be good."

Sir Marc Murphy (Carlton Football Club)
DOB: 19/07/1987 (Age: 24)
Position: Gun midfielder
Drafted: Pick 1, 2005
Debut: Round 1, 2006 vs. Melbourne
Games: 126
The heir apparent at Carlton. Murphy was outstanding in 2011. He just went from strength to strength. He failed to gather 20 possessions only once during the season (against Collingwood in Round 4), he kicked a goal a game, worked on his tackling and he gets his hands on the ball a lot and wins free kicks. He's very quick over the ground and loves to take a bounce when running with the ball - his disposal is generally very good and he's a decent mark for a guy of his size. I can see him getting better and taking the #1 mantle in Carlton's midfield and getting a hard tag before Judd does in the near future. He polled 19 Brownlow votes in 2011 and is my favourite to win it in 2012.
1 x Carlton Best & Fairest (2011)
1 x All Australian (2011)
