It's been raining really heavily all day in Sydney, so I wouldn't expect this to be a very pretty game and a lot of contested ball to be won today.
Substitute for Sydney is Tony Armstrong, while Daniel Pearce is the sub for the Dogs with Zephianiah Skinner a late out.
Big Mummy is back for this game and he should give us the edge around the middle where the game inevitably won. Both sides have pretty woeful forward lines so it will be key for each team to take their chances, something which will be exemplified even more on a wet day.
Key Matchups:
Josh Kennedy vs. Liam Picken
I am going to say that JPK will be the man that Bulldogs target and will receive the Picken tag. So far this year he was been able to throw the tags of pretty well by going forward and kicking bags of goals. Picken will need to limit his influence on the game and if he can do this, then the Dogs are in with a chance.
Kieren Jack vs. Ryan Griffen
Griffen has been in outstanding form to start 2012 and as such Jack will be sure to mark him very closely while at the same time keeping Griffin accountable on the other way. Jack often reserves his best games for the Bulldogs, so if he can curb Griffen and have an attacking impact Sydney will be in great stead.
Shane Mumford vs. Will Minson
On wet days, ruck dominance can be a big factor in deciding which way the game goes and this should be a good contest for the whole day. Mumford is returning from an injury while Minson has been pretty dependable the whole year so this could really go either way.
Tip:
Sydney by 19"Homie, maybe we should go inside."
"But, Marge, that little guy hasn't done anything yet. Look at him. He's going to do something and you know it's going to be good."

Awesome. I know I'm on my own here but I love watching a good ol' fashion mudbath.
