Can this medical report garbage please go? Priddis couldn't come back on the pitch, where art thou medical report? I don't want NLM suspended for that tackle but just rather citing how stupid the whole medical report thing is with regards to force etc

Array Rep Power:       43 Reputation:       7581 It's like when you were 6 years old and playing sport how if a kid used to start crying he would get a free even if nothing happened.
Not saying some incidents don't cause injuries. But you could have the same incident happen to two different people and have two different injuries. They are meant to classify the impact as high/low etc. Just do it that way. The medical report just seems like the way of dobbing someone in, without the player having to give evidence against them.
At the start of the year McDonald got a ban because he broke Parker's jaw and he was going to miss three weeks. Luke Parker ended up not missing a match I think?
That Joel Corey incident was one of the funniest things I've seen on the field. It's like something you instinctively do to your mates when they piss you off. Must of just forgotten where he was for a second, and applied it in the wrong situation.

Array Rep Power:       57 Reputation:       7039 I thought he'd get 1, but the Kosi tackle on Duncan in R13 last year was very similar and Kosi got exactly the same penalty.
Mumford vs. Carlton last year was very similar tackle as well and he got 3 weeks.

Mumford also got 2 weeks for this tackle on Ellard - 2:57 in.
Based on evidence, it's not actually really that surprising he got 2.

Isn't that exactly the type of thing the AFL have been targetting the past few years?
He had Priddis completely wrapped up, wrestled his legs out from under him and drove him into the turf face first with his arms pinned.
Don't see how that gets off.

Funny how Merrett got zilch for his sling tackle last week or the week before can't remember.
