There is no limit, no. I do think that term "elite" gets thrown around way too much.
Goodes? If Goodes was to play FF or instead of playing Midfield/CHF/FF... Goodes will be considered an "Elite" forward before he retires.

Goodes should be playing in the midfield not forward. Our tall-forwards should be Reid and White.

Goodes should only start playing completely up forward if he can't compete in the midfield and at the moment, he needs to be in the midfield 70% of the time.

Still a utility and won't change anything come finals.

Think you are under rating Waite tbh and I'd still back Carlton to make a prelim final this year or beat WCE in the finals.

It doesn't matter if I am underrating him, the fact is he is their only forward you can call a genuine kpf (I don't consider him one but anyway) will ensure they won't do anything come finals.

You really don't need gun KPF's to do well in finals and Waite is half decent. I'd be very surprised if the Blues didn't win one.

I usually agree as long as you have two or more elite mids that can perform regardless of each other's performance. Murphy and Gibbs are reliant on judd and each other to have a significant impact on a match. Judd is their only midfielder who gets hardball, maybe robinson.

Exactly, he should be used as a floating forward if anything, not to be used as a key-forward. White should be played at full-forward for the rest of the year.

Especially in Waite's case, when he jumps early, he very rarely gets spoiled because his vertical leap is so good and he can just hang in the air.

He always creates a contest and is vital to our structure. We had Henderson playing his role today
