Array Rep Power:       49 Reputation:       6038 Given that GC had a better draft class to choose from, how did GWS end up with the far better midfield and KPP stocks?
"Homie, maybe we should go inside."
"But, Marge, that little guy hasn't done anything yet. Look at him. He's going to do something and you know it's going to be good."

Array Rep Power:       44 Reputation:       7481 One of the most horrific and untimely injuries of all time, he was in brownlow medal form iirc. I read somewhere he always had complications (arthritis maybe) afterwards.
He was always a gun for us, used to kick a few bags and was always dangerous inside 50.
I'd say it just shows how speculative drafting, especially for KPP players, is. It's always easier to judge looking back

Array Rep Power:       18 Reputation:       1571 Put this in here after half the forum crying over me having a thread...
I always have them pop into my head and then I forget them so i'll just whack them in here. You can ignore them or comment, do whatever u want.
I'll start off with these 3 I thought of today...
1. The Eagles injuries are going to benefit them in their quest for a flag.
Firstly, our midfield is going to improve their kicking inside 50. Prior to our forward line injuries, we were getting away with poor delivery. It was coming in much to high and without any penetration. Now, with a small forward line we have been forced to improve this, and it will benefit us greatly in September. Secondly, the improvement to our squad (look at point 2). Hill, Hams, Lycett, Neates etc are now getting games are able to put what they learn in training into match practice. It gives them a better chance of performing under pressure before finals.
2. A club's squad is more important then ever. With games played at higher intensity, more injuries, more teams in the comp and the comp just being more taxing on players as a whole, the team with the better squad will win the flag more often than ever. Just like the EPL, the team with the best squad wins!
3. Clubs underrating the tagging of defenders. Shannon Hurn. Tag him out of a game and you are halfway to beating the Eagles imo. It's the same with Fletcher, O'Brien and Scarlett. Why don't teams realise this!?"I'm a dinosaur, an absolute dinosaur. But what I am is a winner" - Sir Alex Ferguson

Array Rep Power:       59 Reputation:       7259 Well, for starters Fletcher and more specifically O'Brien aren't worth tagging.
Put a damaging player on Fletcher, and use the player when attacking. Instead of just peeling off he then has to think about his man. You're half way to beating him.
O'Brien, well, put any AFL listed player on him and put him under pressure. Cannot handle it.

Array Rep Power:       59 Reputation:       7259 One thing I've pondered recently is the idea of putting Dawes to CHB and Tarrant, when fit back to FF.
Instruct Dawes to punch at every contest, wrestle, man-handle, do whatever you have to do. Tarrant can actually take a mark and is better at every aspect of football.

Array Rep Power:       43 Reputation:       7581 To be replaced by Mark Harvey, might as well stick with Voss.
