    Ricky Nixon in strife again

    Yes the story broke today but haven't seen a thread on it, here I thought it was a bit of a media beat up, but the charges he is facing are frightening. They are:

    - Intentionally causing serious injury
    - False imprisonment
    - Assault with a weapon
    - Escaping lawful custody
    - Resisting arrest.

    UPDATE: FALLEN former AFL player agent Ricky Nixon has been hit with serious charges over an incident at his home today.

    Police have charged the 49-year-old with intentionally causing serious injury, false imprisonment, assault with a weapon, escaping lawful custody and resisting arrest.

    He will appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on July 20.

    Nixon, a banned player agent, was arrested and taken to The Alfred hospital after the incident and discharged hours later.

    Police had detained him after an alleged assault in Bay St, Port Melbourne.

    It is believed the assault may have involved Nixon’s fiancé, 27-year-old Tegan Gould.

    A Victoria Police spokeswoman confirmed a 49-year-old male had been arrested and taken to hospital shortly after 3am.

    “Police were called to a Bay St property in Port Melbourne just after 3am,” she said.

    “A 49-year-old was arrested before being taken to The Alfred hospital with minor injuries.

    “As the matter is under investigation we will not be able to provide further details.”

    An Alfred hospital spokeswoman said Nixon was discharged earlier this morning.

    It comes after Nixon was arrested in February after an altercation with Gould.

    Onlookers said at the time Nixon appeared naked in his flat overlooking Bay St in Port Melbourne.

    He later threw Gould's clothes down the stairwell of their apartment.

    He was arrested after going downstairs and ignoring a police order to return to his apartment.

    It's a shame, thought he was getting his life back on track. Had no idea he had even divorced from that girl, he was on 1 footy program (Eddie McGuire Tonight from memory) talking about how they had set up a network for people to deal with their internal problems or something along those lines.

    The downward spiral continues.

    My question to girls like this is, why in the fuck do you stay with these guys?

    One of my friends has been with this abusive dude for ages, they break up every couple of months or so but she always fucking goes back. I just don't understand it.

    DISGRACED former AFL player manager Ricky Nixon has been charged with serious offences after allegedly holding a knife to the throat of his fiancee.


    The couple announced their engagement earlier this year and featured together in an online reality series, Ricky and Tegan Get Real. But there has been speculation the relationship had recently broken down.
