Brisbane Broncos avg. attendance: 36,336, highest in the country and the world for Rugby League
I'm going to go with the fact that very few in Queensland ever have or ever will give two shits about AFL or any sport except league unless their team is doing well. Hell, even I found myself taking a vague interest in NRL while Melbourne Storm doing well (never enough to go to a game but yeah)Andrea Pirlo - the Lenny Hayes of international football

Array Rep Power:       31 Reputation:       4306 It varies, normally we get a decent crowd on the first day of the first test, even though we get the arse end of the summer scheduling. This year against South Africa should see an almost full Gabba on the first day.
If guess and say ODI's are about the same as the rest of the country. The Brisbane Heat did pretty well as far as crowds go too."I saw a cockroach playing Pacman. Array Rep Power:       39 Reputation:       6221 Broncos are very unique. The next best NRL team doesn't even average 20k.
Still, the Broncos are 2nd on the NRL ladder, and the Lions are 13th? Putting those 2 games up against each other on a Sunday was never going to work for the Lions. I don't think I've ever seen them schedule games on the same day both in Brisbane. Very odd.Golf is stitched into my shirt

I don't live there but from what i know/see the tests are always a sold out event on day 1/2 while the ODIs are usually have solid numbers.
Angus Johnson did say we're aiming to get 30k memberships by 2013-14 ? iirc
We need more of these games through

FWIW Sydney's home crowds have dropped pretty significantly the last couple of seasons also. 26k-ish last year and just over 22K at present this season - weather has affected that at parts im sure and I guess they havent had their highest drawing opposition at this point
