    Has a great record in the lower leagues and I vaguely remember him playing against us for Scunthorpe and he was good but the CCC & SPL and the Prem are miles apart as far as class goes.

    Hooper was a major major part in keeping Scunny up that year. Was sold the year Newcastle went up and Scanny still havent replaced him adequately and they are struggling now.

    but i dont think it is the player we want. We should want someone tested in a real top league. Its too much risk, since we already have a lot of c Grade forwards. i dont reckon it is true either. He is English, which is a compete opposite to Ashley's plan for the club, as most English players are expensive. Heard Hooper has been mentioned for QPR as well for 7 Mil. Sounds more realistic.

    (note i havent really seen him play since leaving Scunny)
