Array Rep Power:       75 Reputation:       7408 dutchie, I would be looking at replacing Heppell.
I think he's too much of a risk considering his starting price, especially if he moves into the midfied where he'lll get more attention from opposition players and his numbers aren't likely to be as good as last season.
Apart from that, it looks very good so far.

Array Rep Power:       11 Reputation:       1051 Defence looks good on paper but you have a lot more to consider and the NAB cup will assist you in that, Heppell and Lake are two very questionable choices, your picking Heppel up as a premium so your hoping for him to have the ability to be in the top 10 defenders at least by seasons end.
Midfield looks fine, a safe approach going with 4 the 4 gun two rookie system which is commonly used, again NAB cup will assist with the rookies but at this point in time they look solid enough.
Rucks are fine, still think Hamish has to have a question mark over his head with the Goldstien and Petrie having elite seasons will he get a go and if he does what will his role be?
Solid forwards, Beams is a unique pick but IMO it's a very smart one, picking forwards who run through the midfield are ace and I personally try to stear clear of key forwards (bar Buddy) so I think you've done well there, Brown, it's too early to tell with him. You'll Never Walk Alone

Array Rep Power:       31 Reputation:       4250 Yeah, the only point of difference is starting a rookie in the rucks instead of mids really.
Much riskier but I'd take a mid premium over a ruck premium.

Array Rep Power:       10 Reputation:       1475 Eboue Not a good structure imo, most money is made with midfield rookies. Im actually tempted to only go 3 premiums and let 5 rooks rake in the $$$
Although I am a pussy and will probably end up going 4 premiums like most people.

Array Rep Power:       10 Reputation:       1475 I like Heppell for this season, heard to be training in the midfield which could only be good. Watch in NAB cup to see where he plays. Ill be going to the WCE/Frem/ESS games and will keep an eye on what he does.
Agree with Indie on Scotland though, he;s a bit overpriced and probably a good upgrade target if he has a good start to the year.
Never heard of Kavanagh, is there a reason you have him I am unaware of?

Array Rep Power:       2 Reputation:       50 Heppel et al
Thanks again for your replies in order to get my team somewhat sorted
. I'll certainly be looking at changing out Heppel and perhaps Lake. I am a competitive sort of a bloke and would like to give some of my workmates a bit of a challenge.
For those on the EPL premier league - I am currently ranked 28.452 out of 2.7 million players - team name "Dutch Courage".
Not sure if I can do as well in the AFL dream team (probably not) but will give it my best shot.
cheers,
dutchie

Sorry mate, didn't see your question in regards to kavanagh. Got it from an Essendon supporter that he could well do well for them this year. I'll try to retrieve his e-mail and post the reply.
Cheers,
dutchie

Array Rep Power:       11 Reputation:       1051 I'm all for the premium midfield experiment and I'm also using it. Specially as league games start from the get go these premium midfielders will-out-score any other premiums in any other position therefore there could be easy wins to start off with.
Also it's often the good forward/backs that are easy to get mid-season instead of trying to get a Swan/Ablett/Rockliff mid-season.
I've got a similar structure to you Eboue but I agree it's very risky, but it could very well work, it's the highest scoring position and if you can have 6 gun midfielders by lets say round 7-8 you are loving life. You'll Never Walk Alone

Array Rep Power:       11 Reputation:       1051 Very simple structure which is good as you have balance in every position.
Make sure you hit your rookies spot on and the NAB cup will help you with this of-course but you the key is to have 30 players playing week in week out.
Not to sure about Brett Renoud and there a few risks with Barlow, Lake, J.Brown coming back from injury, so monitor them through pre-season.You'll Never Walk Alone
