No defenders.

Mids: Stanton, Hayes, Winderlich, Lucas, Morabito

Ruck: Sandilands, Nic Nat

Forward: Reiwoldt, Didak.

Interesting choice so far - assuming that's Kane Lucas?

I filled out the rest of my team, Lake, Hargrave, Dempsey, Clark etc are all risky picks but over the course of the NAB cup that team will change.

Woah, completely different to everyone else's side.

As I said, Lucas has dominated pre-season and will get a chance at some stage, it remains to be seen if that'll be R1.

I have to admit I didn't look at anyone elses side before I did my team, tonight was the first time I entered this thread. I didn't do DT last year but before that I was a regular since 06 so that's why I have gone with a few of my regulars like Stanton. I don't like going all out for the Collingwood and Geelong big guns at the start as I think their prices are too high so that's why you don't see the likes of Swan, Pendlebury etc.

Aggressive mid-pricing strategy. Although I don't think I'll be doing it myself, I like it.

Think you should re set all your emergencies tbh. Few won't play many games and the rest won't score well. Add the likes of Zorko, Shiel, Trealor, Brown (Adelaide), Spurr, Pfeiffer, Smedts etc etc. Your players are actually expensive too so when/if you change you'll have plenty of coin left over to upgrade another player to a prem.

I tried looking for players that are in that 250-400k price range who I think have some upside. They get a few good scores in a row and then with my large cash reserves I can upgrade them to premiums if need be.

I honestly have no idea which of the GWS players are going to be playing so I guessed them just to fill out my team. I will be watching the NAB Cup closely so I can get a better idea of the team they will be trotting out come round 1. I will also look out for those players you mentioned so thanks for that.

Thoughts?

I feel I'm lacking scoring in the backline. Also feel I'm a premium midfielder short but I like going with variety rather than selecting players everyone has.
