Only saving grace for me is my original draft side also had both Berger and McEvoy in it before I decided 1 week out from 1st game to go 1 premo 3 rook strategy

I've already used 7 trades and haven't even made one upgrade. Really worried.

Sandilands IN, Mumford OUT (forced but copped two donuts)
Cloke IN, Fyfe OUT (forced and Cloke has been shit)

Treloar IN, Kennedy OUT (Kennedy has hit the wall but now Treloar is injured?)

T Adams IN, C Smith OUT (looks a good trade)
Murphy IN, Ablett OUT (had Shiel for cover so only gained 14 pts from this ... will rage if Ablett is back this week)

Horsley IN, Magner OUT [$310K in bank]

with 140k in the bank at 16. trades.
Week after I can go Ellis/Morris > Some idiot hopefully. Then I almos would have enough to go Greene > Ablett.

And rock a 5 man prem mid/fwd. Then upgrade the last spots after the byes

Zaharakies fits in well with the byes and cheap but I cant envisage him scoring that much over the season. What do people think?

Would lol if a) Ablett is back and b) is miraculously fit enough to score his 120s-140s. Particularly as my non-playing midfielder (Coniglio 97) scored more than Murphy this week anyway. Got the 80 from Shiel as my J. Selwood emergency.

Bit worried with the trade situation, want to use 2 this week (Magner -> Horsley, Pfeiffer -> Adams), which leaves me with around a spare 260k to do an upgrade the week after. But those 3 trades would leave me having used 10 after 8 rounds.

3 of the 7 trades I've used have been injuries (Fyfe -> Robinson, Mumford -> Kreuzer, Ablett -> Murphy), two more correcting errors before prices changed (Broughton -> Waters, Neale -> Greene). One traditional dowgrade (Kennedy -> Treloar) and one traditional upgrade (D. Smith -> Sidebottom).

When 43% of your trades are for injuries, it's not a good situation.

Only used the 6 trades so far but again, not an upgrade in sight unfortunately. No doubt somebody will get injured next week so I can't do it then either, it's annoying when I've had $300k sitting in the bank for 2 weeks.

Plus not checking emergencies also lost some points.
Rd. 6 2264.

Only need to upgrade one more player in defence and attack and make 2 more upgrades in midfield and my team will be completed. The fact that Hargrave, Lake and Waters have performed so well has really taken the pressure off. Magner and McDonald will be upgraded soon enough and by then Devon Smith will have been upgraded too.

Please let Selwood and Ablett return this week.
