Wasn't a penalty, pretty poor decision, though it probably looked so from the refs point of view. Still, in such a big game; if there is any doubt, don't give it.

Every player that plays football dives because they're taught to these days. The nationality is irrelevant (yes, some nationalities dive more, but everybody dives)

To be fair, I will applaud the referee's balls to give that decision (even though it was incorrect). A lot of referee's would have put the whistle away there regardless of whether or not somebody got killed in the box that late in the game.

He still has to take blame for getting the decision incorrect though.

Even more annoying, as in beyond the obvious bullshit decision, is that it adds more fuel to the argument that soccer's a weak sport. You can't argue with people when evidence like Berisha is right there.

Gutted for the team and the fans that flew over.

From the Referee's viewpoint it would have looked like a spot kick but its a tough pill to swallow for the Glory

Nothing to do with the A-League quality, nor Soccer "divers".

Yeah, unlike pretty much everyone on here, 'soccer' (hate calling it that) is my #1 sport but I really can't defend it after seeing stuff like that.
