What a night at Hindmarsh, the buzz was back last night, crowd a tick under 10k, but sounded like 15k in the final few minutes.
I take my hat off to Jon McKain, he lost support from every United fan and then lost the captaincy, now he's bounced back and looks like our best defender, he will be a key player next season. Eugene, what can you say? His performances in the ACL over the years has been stunning, that first have half to deny Kennedy, you won't see a better save than that.
So gutsy, and another handy financial earner for the club, bring on the quarter finals!!

I am surprised Eugene hasnt gone on to bigger and better things. Would do some damage in the second tier in England, the bottom half of Dutch or French football too perhapsShutup. If I wanted too I could come down there and beat you like a rented mule, or a mule for purchase. Bottom line is if there is livestock involved, ill beat you like it

Considering how the Asian leagues love their Aussie defenders, surprised they haven't inquired about Eugene, as I said, he's always been in beast mode during the ACL, absolute world class.
The ref was inconsistent as all hell, poor Bruce got fouled about 5 times each by each centre back before 1 of them got a card.

Teams in the Final 8
Adelaide United
Al-Ahli
Al-Hilil
Al-Ittihad
Sepahan
Bunyokdor
Ulsan Hyundai vs Kashiwa Reysol
Guangzhou Evergrande vs FC Tokyo
Could face a really tricky trip to Western Asia. Would love to draw Al Ahli and have that cunt Asamoah Gyan on our home deck, what a fall from grace, from playing at packed grounds like Old Trafford, the Emirates, to the suburban ground on Manton Street, Hindmarsh.

Array Rep Power:       35 Reputation:       4975 As long as we don't draw Al Hilal we might be alright. They won their R16 match 7-1.

Would it be wrong of me to assume to Saudi & Iranian sides wouldn't be as strong as the eastern Asian sides? Problem is with those sides their 'sportsmanship' is absolutely ridiculous, would be frustrating to watch.
Guangzhou would be a dangerous side if we draw them, Lucas Barrios & Dario Conca.
Draw isn't til mid-June and the next round isn't til September
