Array Rep Power:       18 Reputation:       3305 Not really. Smith should have been run out about three times, looked like a 11 year old on the front foot and barely middled one the entire time he was there. Add to that he didn't even try to get back in his crease when he was run out.
Clarke on the other hand was involved in two good partnerships, each with a decent scoring rate. Looked comfortable and then got done by a decent ball/pitch holding up just as he was about to take it up a gear. The two don't compare.

Array Rep Power:       78 Reputation:       7751 Steve Smith! He even missed a run out last night, so he's not even doing his only job properly.
The specialist fielder, CA, it's time.

Array Rep Power:       61 Reputation:       7919 Smith came in when the run rate was 8.5 or something around that. Michael 'Sped' Clarke came in and soaked up too many dot balls. If he made quick runs, everyone else has less pressure put on them. A strike rate of 68% is not close to good enough when you're chasing almost 300.

Array Rep Power:       78 Reputation:       7751 It's always been a problem when we don't start well, Clarke could never increase the scoring rate.
If we start well, he can come in and continue the momentum very well, but he can lift the strike rate when we need it after a slow start. It's just how it's always been, he hasn't improved that in 7 years and he wont improve it now.

Good to see Hussey get some time in the middle and strike the ball well, can't say the same for the other Hussey and Smith, I have no confidence in them whatsoever.

Array Rep Power:       78 Reputation:       7751 We cant drop Haddin, because there's not another keeper over there, but FFS, move him down to 6 and play Marsh as an opener with Watson.

Then when we get back home, drop Haddin and play whoever, pick out some random U/14 keeper from a local club, just go away Bad Haddin.
When was the last time he made a decent score?

Please bring in Marsh for Hussey and Doherty for Patto. Let Smith be our main spinner for one ODI since he had a good record as that when we played England.
