Okay, the finals are here.
Sri Lanka topped the points table, Australia coming in 2nd and India on a plane home. (LOLCUYA!).
Injury news:
AUS: Michael Clarke has been cleared to play.
SRL: Angelo Mathews (calf) and Farveez Maharoof (back) are expected to play but Thisara Perera (back) has been ruled out.
Team news:
AUS: Peter Forrest is expected to be the unlucky batsman who misses out for Michael Clarke, while Brett Lee and Ben Hilfenhaus are expected to be fighting it out for the final position in the Australian bowling line up after James Pattinson took 4 wickets on his return.
SRL: Chamara Kapugedara has been flown in as cover and could be included in the side to strengthen the middle order batting. Senanayake could be surplus to requirements on a pitch with a bit more pace and bounce now that Maharoof and Mathews have been passed fit.
Probable sides:
AUS: 1. David Warner, 2. Matthew Wade+, 3. Shane Watson, 4. Michael Clarke*, 5. Michael Hussey, 6. David Hussey, 7. Daniel Christian, 8. James Pattinson, 9. Clint McKay, 10. Xavier Doherty and 11. Ben Hilfenhaus
SRL: 1. Mahela Jayawardene*, 2. Tillerkaratne Dilshan, 3. Kumar Sangakkara+, 4. Dinesh Chandimal, 5. Lahiru Thirimanne, 6. Chamara Kapugedara, 7. Angelo Mathews, 8. Farveez Maharoof, 9. Nuwan Kulasekara, 10. Rangana Herath and 11. Lasith Malinga.

Array Rep Power:       43 Reputation:       7581 Lee and Clarke in. McKay and Forrest out. Lee and Warner must be considered pretty lucky to keep their spots.

"I saw a cockroach playing Pacman. It was on the internet, right, and somebody had linked up a cockroach to err... to some... I can't even be bothered explaining it, but that's what I'm saying - everything is moving on."

Array Rep Power:       10 Reputation:       1343 Why would they have a final in Brisbane instead of say, Perth? It's going to rain more times than not in Brisbane.

Array Rep Power:       43 Reputation:       7581 McKay is a pretty vanilla kind of bowler, not exactly the most exciting to watch, but he's done the job this series. Ahead of Lee statistically in wickets, economy, strike rate, average.

Add in the fact that Lee is probably playing injured. He'll be gone once the T20 world cup is finished though so not too fussed.
