Not that I watched any of this series, but had to laugh when I saw the batting bowling/bowling averages. Two batsman in top 3 bowlers, two bowlers and wicketkeeper the highest three batting averages.

This is going to be tough.

Cowan: 5/10 (3 tests) - a lot of starts and a good 50 in his final innings of the tour. He fielded superbly, taking a lot of catches.
Warner: 4/10 (3 tests) - a lot of starts again, decent in the field as you expect from Warner, but nothing outstanding. Struggled.
Watson: (3 tests) 6/10 - Bowled impressively and batted half decently - a good time to return to the side, a new role (again) wouldn't have helped.
Ponting: 2/10 (3 tests) - Struggled in the field, something you don't expect from Ponting, besides a 50 in his final innings, he struggled massively. Gone.
Clarke: 6/10 (3 tests) - Captained well as has become the norm, except for overbowling himself looking for Michelle on Day 5. Did some nice things with the bat, a few starts here and there, but nothing major
Hussey: 6/10 (3 tests) - Took a wicket, fielded well as usual. Made a few starts (as did everyone), but also nothing substantial.
Wade: 8/10 (3 tests) - Only centurion on tour, when we needed him the most, took his chance with the gloves and was almost faultless behind the stumps - his weakness is spin bowling, so I was very impressed with how he handled himself.
Siddle: 4/10 (1 test) - Looked sore in the first test, didn't bowl well and didn't bat well, gave his all though and missed the rest of the tour.
Harris: 8/10 (2 tests) - Excellent series. Despite missing the 2nd test (rested), he was MOTM in the first test, taking both wickets and making a big, big half century for the side.
Hilfenhaus: 7/10 (3 tests) - Didn't concede a run for the entire tour, took a few crucial wickets, but was quite good, held his own with the bat as well - which is not expected.
Lyon: 9/10 (3 tests) - He had an outstanding series, taking plenty of wickets and even got a 40 with the bat when we were in trouble. He was great, my player of the series.

Beer: 6/10 (1 test) - Did a good job when called upon in the 2nd test, wasn't bad with the new ball, took some crucial wickets, but didn't do anything with the bat (but that's okay).
Pattinson: - 4/10 (1 test) - Couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with the ball, he struggled badly, I haven't seen him struggle like that since early in his Victorian career, he made a crucial 32 in the first innings of the 2nd test though. Played 1 test.
Starc: - 5/10 - Called upon to play the final test once Pattinson and Siddle went home, did his job, took a couple of wickets and batted very, very well. Making a great 35, but didn't ground his bat and was run out in lazy fashion, could have made a bigger score, he was looking great.

Forrest: - DNP/10 - But will be better with the experience of touring.
Nevill: - DNP/10 - Also will be better with the experience of touring. Seems to be 2nd choice wicket keeper now as Wade has firmly entrenched himself as the #1 keeper.

Not far off, didnt think Watson at three was great, top order still a concern if the like of Khawaja, Lynn etc dont kick on. Perhaps Clarke to 3 should be done
