Array Rep Power:       19 Reputation:       2900 Tbh this is a good thing for australian cricket that these guys are moving elsewhere. As much as everyone says they give you a baggy green when you get your baggy blue cap... NSW churn out the best kids. And they have a few that will now get regular games and hopefully fast track there development.

Array Rep Power:       24 Reputation:       4332 Surprised Paine turned down the offer WA made him, very big money, much more than Tassie offered.
Looks certain Triff will go as a result of it, pity, but a smart career move for him.Valar Morghulis

He's the best fielder in Australia, but you surely can't get state contract offers when your best skill out of batting/bowling/fielding is the third of those options.Last edited by Spudregus_87; 30th June 2012 at 11:29 PM.

Array Rep Power:       59 Reputation:       9995 I think it might eb Patterson and I mispelled it (well, copied from another thread more acurately), but yeah big things expected of him. Havent seen him bat personally but it's been hinted he's pretty open shouldered in the way he plays and would probably find facing quality fast bowling pretty difficult due to his technique - but on a flat track very effective.
He's a good batsmen at first class and List A level tbh. One Dayers he's a 3-4 (which is why he shouldnt be near the ODI side, not the best option at 3/4 and rubbish below that).

Array Rep Power:       30 Reputation:       4109 Not sure I'm completely happy about us getting Khawjajajaja and Hauritz. Going to cost someone like Robinson, Lynn or Burns a spot at some stage (probably Lynn straight up), and will also make it very hard for Boyce to get a game. Some of our best young talent may stagnate if we're not careful.
