Have posted my starting line up, as I have about 40 players in reserve feel free to make me an offer on anyone not in my starting side.

I wasn't the only person to do this throughout the game and this was the only round I did it.

I said if that wasn't allowed, which by the fact others had done it before me implied it was. I was quite happy for my original set of bids (ie If I snared buddy) given the cap space I had the only person who could've out bidded me was Narkee. This was a proviso so I got two KPF (which I did) and no more than that.

Yes, you aren't the only one who had gone over their cap. But most of those cases were accidental.

As a result, I showed some leniency and allowed people to cut players of their choice; I can't help but think, in this instance, that the over-bidding was more deliberate.

When I sent the PM I was under the impression we could go over & cut, because if I did go over it wasn't going to be by much anyway.

After that I state that if I reach my cap space stop giving me players.

Which meant I should've stopped getting players from Zaha down.

Yeah it was convoluted, but to be fair spud nailed most of it. I went through to double check I was under cap & when I worked out I wasn't I owned up. When I sent that message everything in it was considered fair game.

It was after that it was contested, I even said I don't care if people resubmit after.

You should've resubmitted as well, ensuring that in any circumstance, you wouldn't have gone over your cap.

Yes, but other people didn't give me an essay's worth of instructions, nor did they go over their caps.


Having said all that, this has been a poorly run competition, and I take full responsibility for that.

I thought it would be easy enough and a bit of fun, but there was a bit more too it than I anticipated. In hindsight, I should've just said no to the first person who wanted to 'hedge their bets.' I didn't see anything wrong with it at the time, but obviously this wasn't the case, and the results of the game have been a bit tainted as a result.

Final ruling on Sledge's situation:

He needs to cut any players that other people have bid on (Vince and LeCras) which will be given to the 2nd highest bidders (Indie & Drewy). Then he needs to cut another player(s) of his choice in order to get under the $400million.
