Bit of a bad feeling about this game, North has the size in defence to keep our fwd line in check.

I have the EXACT opposite opinion to you on that r dub. Our forward line will trouble there defense and our defense can keep there forwards in check
Shutup. If I wanted too I could come down there and beat you like a rented mule, or a mule for purchase. Bottom line is if there is livestock involved, ill beat you like it

We have played 4 good games all season (GWS, Geelong, Adelaide, St Kilda).

I'm hoping that we're starting to hit some consistent good form but I'm not too sure with us either.

If this was at Etihad, I would've been fairly confident as that's where we tend to play our best footy and West Coast struggle there. Bellerive may not be a major advantage for us.

    Goldstein v Cox/NicNat
    Grima v Darling
    Wells v Selwood
and whoever matches up on Adams will be absolutely pivotal. I feel WCs midfield may be too strong for us, but it should be an interesting game.

Geez, I don't like your chances if they are the crucial matchups...

Definitive Preview: West Coast - Official AFL Website of the North Melbourne Football Club

In Round 6 he (Shuey) was one of West Coast's best with 20 possessions, 7 tackles, 2 goals and 4 frees.

Seriously though, looking forward to it (even more so because I don't have to go to Hobart ).

Was in Scott's office today while he was filming the Team of the Week video. While I was there, was checking out the big board he's got where the matchups and stuff. Seems like they're expecting West Coast's back six to setup in two banks of three, to use a soccer term. KPD's in the back three and three flankers around the 50 roughly.

There's probably little relevance to that because they didn't have the North matchups on there but maybe interesting that they either expect the West Coast key defenders to sit closer to home or they're going to play Petrie + Hansen + Tarrant all close to home.

Gotta watch out for Leigh Adams too, has been in good form for North.

    I emailed Woosh

He is now going to put Darren Glass on the wing. Beau Waters at FB, and have Eric McKenzie tagging Daniel Wells

I thought harsh on shep too.

Apparently an ankle injury. Must be small because this is the first i have heard.

Not to mention Adam Selwoods 2 week "illness".

I cant believe im saying this but I want more Tom Swift. Id rather he fly over then Koby Stevens. Id also rather he play then McGinnity

Is there any point playing Swift out of position though?

McGinnity is more versatile than Swift which is probably why he gets a game..

Also wasn't Adam Selwoods an arm infection?

Guessing that they probably don't want to bring back in Schofield, Butler and Selwood the same week. Ash Smith still to come as well, so McGinnity is going to have to start playing well if he wants to hold his spot.

An arm infection from doing what? Strange injury

Id prefer Swift on a HFF to McGinnity though. He wont be playing in defense as Butler will push him out

Shep has been on a HFF lately. IMO Id bring in Swift to replace Sheps role and Butler to replace McGinnity.

    Still no Scott Thompson.

Reckon Delaney on Lynch, Grima on resting ruck and Firrito on Darling.

Bit worried on the last matchup.
