As for Adelaide, again ignoring the backline, you'd drop Jenko and play Tippett as R2.

Both teams would be unstoppable with Hurley as a forward. Imagine the third defender trying to stop Roughead or Tippett. Fletcher and Scarlett would be the only two in the league I'd give a chance of winning that duel more often than not.
No we wouldn't as he would be of far more use down back.

He would slot in at CHB and the forward set up would continue as it did against Geelong.

Everything is made in China. Except Tom Brady’s tears. We make those in Baltimore.

Obviously he'd be more use to you down back, but he'd still improve your team up forward.
Well, Your Honor. We've plenty of hearsay and conjecture. Those are kinds of evidence.

Not really, he would take up too much room up forward literally and figuratively. Need to leave space for Tex and Tippet to work with.

Yeah, Jenkins or McKernan are so much more damaging than Hurley.

Not sure why this is getting any real attention.

Fair enough he just got a big contract, has big expectations of him and he's had a quiet year so by all means make your cracks and have your fun.

Bottom line is he's a 21 year old key position player who has easily shown enough to suggest that he's got a good career ahead. Most KPP his age have more question marks over their head than Hurley does at 21.
Has kicked 4 second half goals to beat the hawks and put us in the finals in his first year, has also been given big jobs down back like Cloke on Anzac day among others. Guess time will tell where he ends up long term but I would suggest he has the talent to succeed at either end but it's really up to how badly he wants it. My only real issue with him is that every now and then he frustrates me by dropping marks he should easily be taking. It's almost like he's expecting the spoil and has already got his body prepared to crumb the ball once its hit the deck. Total confidence that part of his game will improve though.

Most importantly though is he chose to stay and sign a long term deal. He might not be one of the main reasons we are travelling well at the moment but we would definitely be worse off in the years ahead without him.

I'm pretty content with where he's at and I'm pretty sure most Essendon fans would share with me in all the fucks we don't give about opposition fans trash talking him.

    Now, you may continue.

He's a poor mans Jay Neagle tbh.

The fact he is 21 is largely irrelevant. Experience is done on games, not age. He's a 50 game player and I'd be expecting more from one.
