All week in the paper and on Twitter the PAFC have be writing stuff like this:

"Hey Adelaide fans, Crow friendly zones at the game this weekend #byoknittingneedles"

"will we see Adelaide's 19th man at the game this Saturday night? #youfearshowdowns"

"Did you sleep ok @Adelaide_FC? Any nightmares about the Showdown? #youfearshowdowns #19thmanisquietthismorning"

"I hate them, I'm not going (19th man)"

"We exist to win Premierships. Adelaide FC exists because of us"

I like the last one the best

Yeah the clubs have been having a crack at each-other on social media, it's definitely lost it's spark somewhat, I wouldn't say it's just another game but it's not the same as it was. It's been like this since about 2007 tbh.

The first Showdown in 2008 was the best one I've ever seen. Everything since then has just been good heartfelt games.

Yeah it is probably in my favourite 10 games of all time.

Repeatedly playing the ball & not the man, hell even Jericho sacked up and went back on because we had a full bench of injuries (think it was him).

All 36 of our SANFL Premierships were quality so 37>2, if you can't accept that how about 4 Champions of Australia medals, 4 CoA + 1 Afl Premiership > 2 Afl Premierships
