Demons mauled by Lions
Stats
Every time we look like gaining some momentum injuries or suspensions hit us.
WORLD
I don't know how we will be able to field a team next week? We could barely do it this week
BEST PLAYERS
Really hard to pick cos no one put in a 4 quarter effort.
MARTIN
Had a very tough job due to the late withdrawal of Jamar and Jones. I thought his 1st quarter was terrific, used the ball well and one of the very few that probably won their position on the day.
SYLVIA
Started off very well, but like the rest of the team he went out of the game a bit as soon as Brisbane got on top. 2 good efforts in a row for Sylvia is a step in the right direction considering how terrible he has been prior to those 2 games.
MCKENZIE
Not one of his best tagging efforts but to lead the team in tackles and the game in clearances considering who we had out and how much we got belted by in the middle last time it's a fair effort.
WORST PLAYERS
BAIL
Played like he was still concussed. Should not get a game ahead of Blease.
SPENCER
Isn't a footballer's asshole
Must delist, no chance in hell that he will make it as a footballer.
The Big Sledge GLORIOUS BEACON NANCY BOY Award for WOG goes to
GRIMES
He really let himself down after some really good performances recently. His disposal was awful and he really needed to step up with the absence of Jones and didn't.
Trengove and Moloney continue not to get the job done and were lucky not to get it and Magner's disposal is not up to AFL standard and if he wants to stay in the team for the long term he has to address it.
CONCLUSION
Happy with our 1st quarter, not happy with the Watts match up at the end of the first quarter that allowed Brown to run riot and change the momentum of the game. It had to be either Frawley or Sellar to go to him.
Once the goals dried up we really played into their hands. We didn't run and carry anywhere near enough and our skills just aren't good enough to hit targets especially when we play stop\start kick it to stationary targets type football.Last edited by WERRIDEE; 1st July 2012 at 10:49 PM.

Array Rep Power:       43 Reputation:       7317 I once saw Spencer miss the ball from a set shot that's how grand he is. Horrendously disappointing performance by the boys out there, Magner was so slow out there today especially. Why in the hell we didn't bring in Cook so we could at least have a forward line is baffling, needs to come in for the Richmond game. I hope Jamar and Jones get up as well. Our skills

Array Rep Power:       8 Reputation:       1283 I don't think Cook would make much of a difference, we got belted by 13 goals in the VFL so no one is worthy in the VFL, Fitzpatrick may get in due to Spencer being so woeful if Jamar doesn't get up. Bennell flew up with the team so he might be a chance
We can only go with what we have got which is nothing. The momentum we got in the last month gone and it could very well get ugly again against Richmond
