    Alex Rance

What's the general consensus from the Tiges fan base about the kid these days? Has his one on one defending improved? His skills have tidied up a bit since his first year, though I feel his contested marking game needs improvement if he is going to hold down a key back line role for an AFL club. Am a family friend of his so always follow how he's going. Also, had an immense Dream Team game against the Pies.

Thought he smashed Cloke on the weekend. 34 touches and kept Cloke to what, 2 goals?

Signs looking good for the boy. And WERRIDEE, you have one single player on your ENTIRE list that isn't a clanger king, and he's played two games. Shut up.

34 clangers you mean. Not as bad as Clangermakers. Easter Monday should be known as Clanger day just to immortalize the shitness of Clangermakers.

You know, there aren't many differences between your posting and your chosen clubs performances this year.

Pathetic, clueless and pea-hearted spring to mind.

Do you ever say anything positive about a player from another side?

Rance is a decent player, who did an admirable job on the competition's second best forward. He burned the ball a bit, but he shows endeavor which is something 18 of your blokes lacked on the weekend

Everything is made in China. Except Tom Brady’s tears. We make those in Baltimore.

Agree, but would extend that 18 to 21 overall. Magner is their only player with ticker. It's sad really.

I extend it to Moloney (who didn't play), Trengove & Grimes.

Those are the only four players I'd say have any sort of backbone.

After that there is some talent, but they look like a worse version of Adelaide/Port than last year

He made massive strides last year. Still turns it over a bit, but nowhere near as much as he used to.

Good in contested situations (took 17 marks vs Cloke on the weekend), and can act as a rebounder (at times), to the point where I'd rather it in his hands than Jackson/Grigg's coming out of our D50.

Said it earlier in the year, but I'll say it again; I think he could become a top five AFL KP defender. I think people just look at Richmond and think 'shit backline,' but you have to remember our two best tall defenders are 22 years old (Rance) and 20 (Grimes). Cut us some slack FFS.

Also had some personal issues which would've no doubt been playing on his mind throughout previous seasons. Is well liked around the club, and could well be a future VC to Cotchin.

Oh and WERRIDEE if we don't beat your mob by ten goals this week, I'll be disappointed.

Not overly big, but does the job. As Spud said, made great strides last year and is now seen as the long term prospect. It's a shame Moore is as good as gone with his injury problems, as Post and McGuane just haven't come on, and Grimes is still lacking in size too. Morris has done some tidy work, but It all falls on Rance atm.

Richmond lost the game in the third quarter due to this bloke and his awful clangers, the opposition love the ball in this blokes hands cos it will either be a nothing kick or a turnover.

Prepare to be disappointed. This is a game that Richmond would lose just because it's Richmond. Let the clangers begin

Don't know really, you could engage in constructive debate on football rather than coming in and talking trash.

Obviously Deludio was a bit of trash. I still don't rate him I think he's overrated. Rance's clangers consistently get highlighted. Doesn't matter if he has a go if he continues to turn the ball over Richmond will never get any better, just like a player that is a good user of the ball but shirks it all the time, no use to club.

The best teams have players that can use the ball and are hard at it. That's why Melbourne and Richmond have been ordinary for a long time, Richmond have finally found 2 that are hard at it and use the ball properly in Cotchin and Martin and that is why they have improved a bit but they need a lot more help from the rest if they are to take the next step.

LOL Rumblah Every preview and review I have made all your comments have been about how we are going to get our ass kicked. If you want constructive debate what about giving it? Big Sledge I like banter sue me
