Array Rep Power:       19 Reputation:       2768 I know that AVB likes playing with wingbacks and I don't have an issue with them pushing up per se... however I have a problem with them playing the 'final ball' so many times. They should be there to open up space and occasionally play the cross in. Instead as soon as we push wide they have no intention other than crossing the ball in. And to who? Mata, Sturridge and Torres .... not many headed goals coming from them.
Going to do an Embers here. Having Ashley Cole and Bosingwa/Ivanovic being a main source/outlet of an attack is akin to going to an Italian restaurant and finding out they use Coles Pasta Sauce for their dishes. It may work against those with little class (the relegation fodder), but those that do (top 8 or so) will be throwing that shit straight back at you and make you pay for it (ie. counterattack rape us).
Morale of this analogy: there's much better more expensive 'sauces' we can use, why the reluctance to go through the quality and opt for the shit instead?

Array Rep Power:       15 Reputation:       2093 Are Spurs a shoe-in for a top 4 finish? The consensus over here is that they are - some are even suggesting they could be the major challange to Man City. Compare their football to that of Liverpool and Chelsea (and Arsenal actually) and at present it is, dare I say, far superior. At last we have got balance to our team. Pace down the flanks and solid down the spine with ample creativity. We have also got squad depth. If I am to be critical then I still say we need another striker to change us from top 4 contenders to champions contenders.

Array Rep Power:       49 Reputation:       6146 I definitely rate you as contenders, you've less obvious weaknesses than Chelsea or pool (or even us), but shoe-in is stretching it.
Probably right about the striker situation though. Thanks for everything, Fergie

Array Rep Power:       78 Reputation:       7751 They're a shoe-in for top four if VDV and Ade stay fit and play ~30 games each.
If one of them gets injured (or both), they'll struggle.
As would we with Lucas/Suarez missing a lot of games.
Chelsea have enough attacking talent to win games, they just have to get their formation, structure and defending right.
Man Utd are shit, but they continue to get results.
At the moment, I have it as:
1. Man City (comfortably)
2. Man Utd
3. Tottenham
Raffle off 4th, 5th or 6th between Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea - if RVP gets injured, Arsenal are in a heap of strife.
