Array Rep Power:       80 Reputation:       8723 Doesnt change the fact they desperately need that pace. Everyone else in that midfield 5 is slow as really. Problem is Aaron Lennons delivery is useless but he gets by his man so many times its hard to ignore and really Tottenham feed off his aimless balls into the box because they pick up the scraps and keep the momentum. Instead now they cannot keep the ball in there final third whatsoever because its the central players putting it in there as opposed to the two wide men. You cant press up when the players that are supposed to press up are the ones on the ball and making the runs.
Regardless of a players talent sometimes they are just majorly important to the teams structure.Shutup. If I wanted too I could come down there and beat you like a rented mule, or a mule for purchase. Bottom line is if there is livestock involved, ill beat you like it

Array Rep Power:       80 Reputation:       8723 TBH most of his goals are ripping shots from outside the box nowadays. Took about 6 months for everyone to catch on but he is a machine. A more likeable version of Ashley Young I feel
He isnt rubbish. He is just a headcase. The talent is there, dances around players like no tomorrow, has pace, a good shot on him. Problem is he is having a sooky la la about not being played centrally so whenever he gets central he just aimlessly shoots on goal and doesnt do the team thing. Moses did the same thing early on in the season but the difference between the two is Moses is taking the shots on as a last resort, Sturridge does so as the first and only resort. In the end Chelsea is too big for him. He needs to move to a Sunderland or Fulham and be the king dick at a club like thatShutup. Array Rep Power:       75 Reputation:       7408 Wouldn't surprise me, but I've decided I'm going to tough it out and sit through the pain. Hopefully we can win 10-0 and the charge for fourth (amirite Demba Ba) is back on.

Array Rep Power:       4 Reputation:       351 No, he doesn't. His dribbling is one of the stronger parts of his game but it certainly isn't world beating or even a consistent threat to the opposition. Often loses the ball at his feet before the opposition have had a chance to do it themselves.
he has a terrible shot on him. not even close to good.has pace, a good shot on him.
agree with that but really any club he's at I think he'll be more of a problem than he's worth.Problem is he is having a sooky la la about not being played centrally so whenever he gets central he just aimlessly shoots on goal and doesnt do the team thing. Array Rep Power:       80 Reputation:       8723 Check out the goals he was scoring for Bolton before you say he has a terrible shot on him Mel Gibson. The goals he scored vs West Ham the day he went nuts against us were some mindblowingly good strikes of the ball. He is a great finisher, He just takes shithouse offbalance shots atm because he is trying to do too much
No way is he more trouble then he is worth for a club outside the top 4. He has all the natural attributes to be a good striker. He just needs to get his head on straight. Id be offering Chelsea a purely performance based fee, give Sturridge a performance based contract and say show me what you can do if I was MON. If they lose Sessegnon which is very very likely id make a 5 mill rising to say 12 mill bid for Sturridge and give him performance based wages. Smaller risk for potential bigger rewardsLast edited by Embers; 22nd April 2012 at 08:04 PM.

Array Rep Power:       80 Reputation:       8723 BTW Charles Nzogbia is a more selfish player then Sturridge IMO. They are atleast even in that regard
