Not sure what a 2nd Div player can bring to the table but in Carr we trust. Guess that answers your Guthrie squad player question footycool.

Alessandro Nesta has quit AC Milan and European football. Expected to link up with a side in the MLS
Jermaine Defoe seems all but certain to hand in a transfer request. Came out and has said he asked for a loan move in January which was turned down. He wants regular first team football again. Given Fulham are going to cash in on Dempsey and Dembele itd make sense if he went there I think
Dembele only has a year remaining on his contract and it seems he will be sold. Id expect them to get 10 mill+ for him.Shutup. If I wanted too I could come down there and beat you like a rented mule, or a mule for purchase. Bottom line is if there is livestock involved, ill beat you like it

Array Rep Power:       80 Reputation:       8723 Was shithouse in his first 6 months IMO. Played RW and simply could not cross. Once he drifted centrally in the next season he was ridiculously improved and awesome. A part of me thinks it took him a while to adjust to the higher tempo as well.
Shutup. If I wanted too I could come down there and beat you like a rented mule, or a mule for purchase. Bottom line is if there is livestock involved, ill beat you like it

Array Rep Power:       80 Reputation:       8723 Got a feeling this season will see a massive amount of signings from the Championship. Players that have caught my eye as good purchases
Matt Phillips (Blackpool) - 6-8 mill - Outside of James Tomkins I think this guy is the brightest talent in the whole league. Strong, fast, can play wide or centrally, good in the air, good shot on him. He is pretty much the English Clint Dempsey in the way he goes about it. Im a tad staggered he is still with Blackpool to be honest. Did enough last year in the top flight to stay in with another team buying him. Would be happy for West Ham to pay 6 mill to buy him and it wouldnt surprise me if we did (try to buy him in Jan but told to fuck off)
Rob Green - Free - Out of contract this summer and will be getting a ton of interest. Problem is he wants mega high wages for a keeper (40k+) to sign on. Linked with Malaga (LOL). I do think if QPR stay up he is a certainity to go there or whoever pays him the most otherwise
Nathaniel Clyne - 2-3 mill - Good young RB whose lack of size and strength may count against him. I dont think he is anywhere near worthy of a top 4 side yet but a side like Newcastle may certainly see him as a Simpson replacement and someone to groom
Wilfed Zaha - 6-8 mill - We all know about him and his talents by now. Is anyone willing to take that risk. Not too sure TBH. If anyone does I think it could be Wigan. One Palace youngster out (Moses) and another one in
Curtis Davies - 4-5 mill - Tomkins aside the best CB in the league for mine. He is PL class and should go back up to his level this year. A beast in the air, good with the ball at his feet. Just a all round solid player
James Chester (Hull) - 4 mill - Probably the best of the young CBs around. With Newcastle missing out on Mariappa who I doubt will leave this window either this guy is probably the next best option in that regard. Highly rated at Hull
Matthew Bates (Boro) - 5 mill - Worthy of a place on any bench in the world such is his versatility. Plays at CB atm but slots into midfield just as well. Dont think he will wait too much longer for PL football and Boro would want to cash in and spread the money around too
Marvin Emnes (Boro)- 1-2 mill - A inconsistent flash in the pan that everyone wants to take a risk on really. Seems all but certain he is off to Swansea if you believe the rumors
Jay Rodriguez (Burnley) - 4-6 mill - Easily the best of the strikers in this division based on output to date. Hard to find a exact similar player. Id say he wants to play a bit like Jermaine Defoe does TBH, albeit slower, but stronger though. Worth the risk because IMO he will have a high sell on value anyway
Robert Snodgrass (Leeds) 4 mill - Not signing a new contract and seems like he wants to go. Has similar qualities to Whittingham IMO. Good on the ball, a good strike on them but do they have the pace for the next tier in there positions. Snodgrass IMO is the better bet of the two.
Peter Whittingham (Cardiff) 4 mill - Great on the ball but very slow and can be marked out of a game fairly easily. Worth the price for a Stoke like team but anyone wanting to play fast paced football best stay away
Chris Gunter (Notts) 2 mill - Reliable solid defender who didnt make it at Tottenham. Deserves another chance. In the Tony Hibbert mould
They are the main ones. A few like Lewis Dunk, Adrian Mariappa may be talked about but there clubs wont sell them in the endShutup. If I wanted too I could come down there and beat you like a rented mule, or a mule for purchase. Bottom line is if there is livestock involved, ill beat you like it

Array Rep Power:       80 Reputation:       8723 Wigan are resigned to losing Hugo Rodallega, Chris Kirkland, Mohamed Diame and Steve Gohouri this summer. Way I see it
Steve Gohouri - Indonesian league - About his level TBH. Horrid player
Chris Kirkland - 2nd division - A few clubs a keeper or two short. Maybe Leeds perhaps
Mohammed Diame - Prem League - Can see a few teams going apeshit over him. Linked to Newcastle and Everton so far. Think a few more will be throwing the hat in that ring
Hugo Rodallega - La Liga - Said he is heading overseas. Think he will head off there somewhereShutup. If I wanted too I could come down there and beat you like a rented mule, or a mule for purchase. Bottom line is if there is livestock involved, ill beat you like it
