    Debatable. Stats like that can be very misleading. Just like how we hadn't lost a game for something like 2 seasons with Djourou at CB. imo Song is our best and most important midfielder. Arteta is great too.

    Apparantly we have bid 7 mill for Elia and 8 mill for Castaignos. Diame had a medical with us yesterday but wont be able to sign till July anyway so he still might go elsewhere. We tried to take Guti on trial with a view to a deal but he said he doesnt trial for anyone so it wont be happening
    Shutup. If I wanted too I could come down there and beat you like a rented mule, or a mule for purchase. Bottom line is if there is livestock involved, ill beat you like it

    The Elia bid is 8 million euros (so still about 7 million pounds) and 7 million euros for Castaignos (~6 million pounds.)

    Guti said (loosely translated) that he doesn't want to do a trial and basically the only place I am going is to whoever signs me. Doesn't mean we won't still offer him a deal though. I for one would be delighted with the signing (if the wages were right, 40-60k max, given there's no transfer fee.)

    Diame underwent a cardiac specialist medical due to his well-known heart condition for us, not a regular medical, so it's still up in the air. I think we'll end up with him however and I will fap so hard.

    I expect only one of them would actually end up joining. Id prefer Elia obviously but wouldnt mind Castaignos either. Id of liked to have seen us buy one and loan in the other. I cant see Inter wanting to sell Castaignos yet, but they would loan him out I think

    Surprised about the lack of talk involving Steven Fletcher. I wouldnt mind bidding 6 or so mill + a guy like Baldock

    Also Shuttles, Diame has agreed a 3 year contract at around 45k a week. Just need him to sign it now. Cant see either of Sunderland or Villa matching that. Reel him in Sammy.

    I don't want to get my hopes up in case it doesn't come off, but Jesus I am excited by the prospect of signing Diame. Couldn't imagine a more prefect style of player to compliment our midfield. Inb4 he flops if he signs though.

    What're your thoughts on a potential Guti deal?

    What happened to the talk about him coming to us? As recently as a week ago saying he would join on July 1. Garbage or he chose elsewhere?
