John Terry signalling from the sideline was pretty amusing

He genuinely thinks he's the manager doesn't he?
    Thanks for everything, Fergie

I just want to know if the guys that lambasted me in this weekends EPL thread over my call for more penalties for handball were happy with the penalty decision tonight in the Chelsea game? Ivanovic headed the ball and the Napoli player was barely two metres away from him but the ball struck his outstretched arm, stopping an almost certain goal. Is that a penalty?

He was pretty close to him and had no opportunity to move his arm, but they gave it anyway. Is this because what I said is actually correct? That if you have your arms up away from your body you are gaining a defensive advantage and in this case denied a goal? Or am I still an idiot and this should never have been a penalty?

In my opinion, any time you have your arms like that, whether you are running, jumping or just standing there and the ball hits your arm whether it be from one metre or ten, it should be a penalty, just like in this game. Put your arms out and you take your chances. Some refs might say play on and in some cases it may be a legitimate case of accidental handball, but in other cases referees should be able to see it for what it is, an unfair advantage and penalise them.

Or am I being an idiot again.

It's because the referee was wrong.

Odds on another Chelsea interim manager taking them to a CL final? Definitely wouldn't harm his resume.

He had his hands above his head for fucks sake. You were talking about arms out. Having your hands above your head isn't a natural jumping position.

    BarcaRulz,
Was terrible. Drogba has cut most of that stuff out of his game for the last few years but this morning he was terrible from the second half onwards. That was the worst of it.
A shame really because he was MOTM by a mile. They had no idea.

    Luiz is great though.

England's Brave can do it all.

Stuart Pierce and RDM out and in John Terry as captain/manager.
