Array Rep Power: 27 Reputation: 4257 Agree with smiths that an Offline draft won't get done in time. I'm involved in 2 offline FF drafts at "BigGrizz" and they are taking forever. Online is the way to go. Surely everybody can be online at the same time for 2 or 3 hours one night in the next 2.5 weeks to get it done?

Array Rep Power: 29 Reputation: 5340 Live draft would definitely be best and is the most fun, but probably too hard to organise. No matter how well we organise it there will always be one or two people who have last minute commitments come up.
Offline I think we could get done if we started ASAP. Plus, if we organised a few nights where we tried to get as many people online as possible, we could try and rip through quite a few picks and if someone is offline then it wouldn't be as big a pain as if we were doing a live draft.

Array Rep Power: 27 Reputation: 4257 If its only 1 or 2 people they can always take the time to set up their list of preferences in ESPN or NFL.com to be autopicked according that list. Sure that person loses out on the strategic side of drafting, but its better than having the season start when we're still half way through the draft. Originally Posted by Jobe

I don't see that happening and it'll probably end in either a live draft any way or the league not happening because the teams aren't complete

If at least 10 of the 12 people can be online at the same time for just one 3 hour block of time, we'd be able to knock out the whole draft and wouldn't have to worry about it afterwards until the season starts (which is in 16 days if you include today)
