Labor expected to be destroyed by the Liberal-Nationals. This would give the Liberal Party control of Queensland, NSW, Victoria and WA with only SA and Tasmania governed by the ALP (and unfortunately we don't have an election till 2014!).

Array Rep Power:       59 Reputation:       9969 Im not at all a 'labor fan boi' (havent voted for them at any point IIRC), and they generally disappoint me. Their last four years in NSW were disgraceful also (althugh said alot about the Libs in NSW that they couldnt knock off an already stale govt in 2007). I dont really care about Qld politics but having been in power a long time im sure the ALP govt was ready to be turfed anyway.
Doesnt change the fact that any Liberal/National party combo in Qld is going to have a reasonable redneck component to it.

Array Rep Power:       4 Reputation:       413 We will see how long that lasts. Forests + Minority government + Greens=trouble. Labor has to support the Forestry Workers so they wont be murdered in the next election to a point they wont be elected ever again. But the Greens have to support the trees to save themselves from annihilation from their voters. There is going to be a big RPG style decision coming up for the government(most likely June) for the Forests, and its going to kill one party.
Unless the Gillard government or some other party somehows gets the 2 parties to agree to a peace deal and compromises they both can take.Tasmania Tigers - Sheffield Shield Champions 2007 2010 2013

Will take them atleast 20 years to recover from thatShutup. If I wanted too I could come down there and beat you like a rented mule, or a mule for purchase. Bottom line is if there is livestock involved, ill beat you like it
