Thought this would be easier than starting a new thread for every new movie that comes out.
I just saw Super 8, directed by J.J Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg.
Gotta say it was an awesome movie, very much a Sandlot Kids meets Cloverfield movie, the kid actors were all fantastic, which was a great surprise, because I honestly wasn't expecting much from them, but they were all awesome.gif)
The train explosion scene near the start is fucking awesome, one of the best crash scenes I have seen.
I loved the way that you slowly see only little bits of the monster at a time, instead of just showing the monster outright.
Quite a nostalgic film, very much like E.T, which was really great.
Easily in my top 5 films of this year, go see it, 5/5

Array Rep Power:       59 Reputation:       9969 Watched a french movie called Dont Worry I'm Fine (cant be arsed looking up what the actual french title is), which was a pretty good movie, about a girl who comes back from holiday, finds out her brother is 'missing' kind of loses the will to live before she starts getting what she thinks are letters from her brother. 4/5
Interesting side note, got the movie and put it in and there was no subtitles menu, couldnt work out how to get them going, that was awkward. Had to put a different movie in and change the settings to display subtitles then put the original DVD in.

Array Rep Power:       51 Reputation:       8162 3:10 to Yuma staring Christian Bale and Russel Crowe, it is a western, basically Christian Bale needs money badly for his family, so he decides to join a sherif and a few others in escorting Russel Crowe's character, who is a badass, to a station to put him on the train to Yuma.
Fucking awesome movie, this and True Grit are easily the best modern day westerns I have seen, Russel Crowe and Christian Bale are both excellent, especially Russel Crowe, he is a smooth mother fucker and a complete badass.
Absolutely loved this movie, and I had pretty high expectations given who was in it, gotta give it a 5/5.gif)
You guys seen this movie?

Paul - Average movie at best. A few laughs, and worth watching to the end, but just flat overall. 3/5

Priest - Not my thing really. I guess if you like stuff like Blade (which I don't), you will like this. Very linear, and (thankfully) short. Paul Bettany continues to star in movies I just don't get into...Karl Urban was better in Doom and Red. 2/5
