    Finally watched it. Sure its pretty preachy, but it looks like quality TV to me and is certainly better than most of what is on TV atm.

    I don't agree with the criticism I've read of the show, but maybe thats because I kinda agree with what is being preached

    The reviews were harsh but most of all on point with the criticism, one of them was retarded and tried to discredit Sorkin's other work as well.

    Critics probably didn't like how real of a reflection on the American media it offered. Was quite preachy yes, but the message was spot on and I could not agree more with it tbh.

    Entertaining first ep, think it has some really strong potential, like that it is back dated, that should be very interesting to see which events get covered.

    It's natural for a show like this to get criticism when it's so preachy (I agree with the show completely and I'm sure the media don't) but I loved it, will be interesting to see how it goes as a week to week proposition especially when the newsroom heats up more.

    Anyone else can't stand that girl? Forgot her name, the producer anyway. Cringeworthy is the best way to describe her, talking about america using 'we, our country' etc with such a strong British accent is embarrassing.

    For a little while I thought that Mackenzie had become a lesbian (and therefore that was the reason for the breakup) and that was why she took a liking to Olivia Munn's character
