Agree. I wish I lived in Sydney where a lot of world class DJs perform club sets. An odd example but Nero's set at Parklife compared to the club set they played later the same night at the after party were completely different.

in clubs they're not afraid to play what they really want, no pressure

growing a bit tired of festivals though, all the big acts play on the main stage and they seem to try and play music for the crowd instead of for themselves
